Our Vision
Special Dreams Farm is proud to the announce the acquisition of our 31 acre farm in St. Clair County. The current priority for Special Dreams Farm is to transpose the newly acquired farm into a working agricultural farm for developmentally disabled adults. We will begin by renovating the buildings on the property starting with the farm house itself. This starts with upgrades to the plumbing, heating, and electrical. Everything could use a fresh coat of paint and many other maintenance services will need to be done.
Much of this work will be done by our farmers and volunteers, but we will be in need of some skilled and possibly licensed craftsmen to complete much of the work. Also, we will need many items donated to become a fully operational farm. The largest of these items will be farm equipment. If you are interested in donating your time, farm equipment, or other items to the Special Dreams Farm please do not hesitate to call or e-mail us.
If you have questions regarding the TAX BENEFITS of donating to Special Dreams Farm, search for the Internal Revenue Code Section 170 at irs.gov.
